A truly unique opportunity to try some new things including creative development, team management and true cross-functional integration, including breaking down silos between agencies, shopper, digital and XM.

Fun fact: A proper coffee tasting involves cupping your hand over the cup and inhaling deeply followed by a large slurp to splash the coffee over all your taste buds.

 

11-14      The MARS Agency · Executive Creative Director

Led 75+ people across multiple offices Including 3 months leading the London office. Creative lead on all RFP responses resulting in wins on Walmart, Chobani, Hallmark and MCX which I continued as creative lead. Re-engineered the creative department including workflow, studio implementation and office environment.

Fun fact: They still do the “squiggle” dance during the Walmart cheer even though it’s not in their logo anymore.

 

05-10      Saatchi & Saatchi X · Executive Creative Director

Creative lead on the North American Leadership Team representing all U.S. offices while also being a mentor to the LatAm team. Leadership outside of creative department included managing and leading all monthly NA company meetings. Helped elevate the creative product including winning the first National Addy. Managed the day-to-day creative work on the P&G and Frito Lay brands.

Fun fact: My “lovemark” is Doe’s Eat Place where they sell steaks by the pound.

 

99-05      Publicis Worldwide/Dallas · Assc. Creative Director

Produced campaigns for BMW and Juicy Juice in Italy and Argentina. Led the creative development on Eurocopter and the Principle Financial Group. Participated in the rebranding of Curves brand and new product launches for Powerbar and TGIFriday’s.

Fun fact: I’ve worked with the Ferrari stunt driving team.

 

98-92      The Northway Group · Sr. Art Director

Developed work for American Airlines’ second largest division, Cargo, including print, direct, B2B and promotions. Did a lot of car and sports stuff, dream job until the agency went bankrupt.

Fun fact: I hid my name in a life size mural in the American Airlines headquarters.

 

95-98      Larkin Meeder & Schweidel/The Knape Group · Sr. Art Director

Launched the first commuter train system in Texas including TV, print, promotions, event planning, and multicultural, which led to being recognized as Adweek’s Southwest Creative All-Star Team. Came this close (holding up fingers an inch apart) to helping broadcast the first Olympics on the internet.

Fun fact: I helped launch the only light train that runs on three grades; below, above and at ground level.

First real job out of college. A mix bag of clients including; pizza, bowling, roller coasters and guns!

Fun fact: Charlton Heston referred to himself as Chuck.
